Opposing Counsel Medical Data & Record Management Platform
The LMI Med™ is a medical data and information management platform designed for opposing counsel to separately access records and data securely. The platform allows for parties on both sides of the bar to share selected collected medical records, including the ability for joint cost-sharing programs. LMI has extensive experience assisting clients with the production and automated notification of records to each party via LMI’s online record repository, including the ability to accommodate notice periods where applicable.
LMI Med™ can be configured in a variety of ways, depending on matter requirements and party obligations. The record repository is typically configured so participating parties are charged via their firm’s credit card on a per-document (or per-provider) basis. This allows parties to select and purchase only the records for only those cases they wish to view and download. Statements of No Record and case pleadings are typically made available free of charge.
